I Could Do That.

Dear Workout,

Of course you could. That’s the point of Coach – we’re here to spur you on to do something you never thought possible. When we spoke to Tobias Mews, who completed the 156-mile Marathon des Sables across the Sahara desert, he told us that six people in his shared tent had never even run a marathon before. “That proves anyone can do it,” he concluded.

Of course, the point of Coach is not to send you out unprepared, so we do advise you on how fit you need to be. If you end up completing the adventure of a lifetime, let us know.

Also this week, we look at the growing furore around concussion and while we don’t recommend wearing a helmet for everything, remember you should never just “run it off”. Plus, hearty meals that don’t go big on the calorie front – we’re eyeing the Mexican steak burrito hungrily.
